Don’t wish it were easier. Wish you were better.” —Jim Rohn

This was taken almost a year ago somewhere near Manila Bay. My family and I were jogging at around 6AM when I noticed this man. An hour after, he was still there trying to catch fish as his means for living. One of the things that I first noticed in this picture is the sharp contrast between the image of the fisherman and what is reflected on the other side of the water. Along the sidewalk near the bay, there were also vendors who sold fishes, which they claimed as fresh out of the water. It was a weekend but still, this man had to work in order to earn money for his family.
